5 things that Highly Successful Global Teachers do that regular teachers need to master

Dear friend,

As we are planning towards the launching of the book, please feed your mind with the 5Is tip of the iceberg.

1.    Interdisciplinary Collaboration

It is exciting to know during our intensive research that highly successful global teachers are travelling across continents for free or are sponsored on professional development programmes to enhance their competencies and capabilities just by differentiating themselves through an approach called “Interdisciplinary Collaboration”.

What is common is “intradisciplinary practice”. A system where teachers within department or faculty are working together to develop plans for effective learning.

However, the focus is shifting to a more challenging practice “Interdisciplinary collaboration” where professionals across different faculties work on models that respond to current complex, volatile, uncertain and ambiguous world.

2.    Intrapreneurship

It is educating to know that a few, thoughtful, committed teachers are within their school systems initiating innovative programmes beyond daily classroom routines that develop learners’ enterprise skills and in addition, generate fund for schools’ development.

These teachers are in-turn getting grants from international organizations to sustain their missions.

What we are used to is Entrepreneur-Employee relationship. This known framework has been taken over by a new model called “Entrepreneur-Intrapreneur relationship”.

Intrapreneurship is a win-win model for the employers and employees of 21st century.

3.    Intellectual Humility

According to the World Economic Forum, critical thinking and complex problem solving are major skills for the future of work.

A survey of 23 highly successful global teachers across 20 countries revealed that, without exception, all of them submit to mentorship.

This mentor-mentee practice is a leverage towards career ascending and buying time for professional expertise.

These successful teachers are far from intellectual arrogance despite their opportunities.

When you find a book with unprecedented content or somebody who knows what you need to know, pay what they charge to accelerate your career.

4.    Insightful Writing

Highly successful global teachers said, “We knew if we would be on global tour in the coming year by the quality of our submissions in the Ember months of the preceding year”.

This book answers who their sponsors are and what exactly is expected to become a beneficiary.

5.    Inclusion

Most educators undermine this trend in the education space.

When change takes place in any field, many practitioners with fixed mindsets fight it.

But change does not respect anyone. Waiting for something to be popular before you buy into it is self-denial of opportunities.
