TOO IMPATIENT TO SUCCEED

When was the last time you had a really good idea?

An idea is a raw resource. When you mine it, people then define you as resourceful person. So, your idea is your foundation for your resourcefulness.

When was the last time you came up with an idea that people were willing to pay for? In fact, you were convinced to mine.

It is always difficult for people to respond quickly to the questions. Most Human beings do not have time for success. They do not have time for mining. Does that surprise you?

Human beings are social beings. We seek and enjoy the companionship of others. We hardly have the time that can give birth to success. This is what I mean: We are too busy that we do not make space in our daily lives to think, dream, reflect and innovate.

The neuroscientist, Roger Beaty went ahead to scan the brain of people when they were performing a test that required them to think divergently. Divergent thinking is a thought process that allows people to explore many possible solutions to a problem.

Finding:

People who spent time thinking about innovation, newness, unusual ways to do things came up with creative ideas. The result of their brain scan showed that “brain networks were more able to co-activate” when compared with brain scan of others who were too busy to schedule time to think. We are too impatient to succeed!

TIME TO THINK IS TIME FOR SUCCESS

In an advance system, some people are employed as Masterminds or Think tanks to introduce new ideas and provoke change. Individually, we need to create our own time to think.

Elbert Hubbard wrote, “The world bestows its big prizes, both in money and honours, for but one thing. And that is INITIATIVE.

Initiative is the least skill that separates human from other creatures.

If you did not learn anything, learn to activate your brain networks by scheduling time every day to think. Researchers have advised you should spend 15minutes minimum on a daily basis to be alone with your thoughts. This is the time for you. Most of your 24hours a day is not for you. You lose it to social distractions.

15 minutes of patience for yourself every day can change the narrative and position you on your journey to self-Actualization.
